The Tennessee Valley Chapter of Wild Ones recently hosted a powerful evening with Dr. Doug Tallamy, renowned entomologist, author, and advocate for native plants. His message was clear: the future of biodiversity begins in our own backyards. Every garden, every patch of soil, every plant we choose can contribute to the health of our ecosystems.

Together, we explored how to turn Tallamy's vision into action--right here where we are. By planting native species, reducing lawn space, and rethinking our landscapes, we can restore habitat, support pollinators, and become stewards of a more resilient future.

Let's keep the momentum going! Learn more, get involved, and be part of a growing community committed to increasing biodiversity in Chattanooga one yard at a time.

Bring questions and comments that might have come up for you that you didn't want to ask in the lecture auditorium and we'll unpack how Tallamy's teachings apply to each of us in our region.
