How can we tell spring is coming? Signs of spring are seen in how plants, birds and insects react to sunlight and temperature changes. Nature has a schedule and small changes can have a large impact on how we enjoy spring. Examples from our backyards and ways we can help buffer effects of climate change with native plants.
Lucy Ellis grew up camping and studied Environmental Biology at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She has worked with plants and wildlife at three National Parks and other public lands. Lucy works for the City of Chattanooga maintaining green infrastructure.
