Planting Information

It’s not yet too late to save most of the plants and animals that sustain the ecosystems on which we ourselves depend.

We can do this by adding native plants to our own landscapes.  Restoring most human-dominated landscapes is relatively easy to do.

The Tennessee Valley Chapter of Wild Ones is here to help you learn how to “heal the earth, one yard at a time.”

Under this tab, you’ll find information about how to start a native plant garden and about how to select native plants suitable for conditions in your garden.

Remember: start small… add a few native plants … and then watch the pollinators arrive to start helping!

We CAN make a difference!
